Arran is accessible by the ferry
'MV Caledonian Isles' (Capacity: 120 cars & 1000 passengers) from
Ardrossan to Brodick, and in summer by an additional ferry between Claonaig and Lochranza. There is a regular train service between Glasgow and Ardrossan. If coming to Arran by car via Ardrossan it is strongly advisable to book in advance, which we would be happy to do on your behalf. Alternatively you can make reservations by contacting: |

Whiting Bay is just 8 miles south of Brodick. Turn left at Brodick pier and continue through Lamlash and into the village of Whiting Bay. Continue through the village, at the 'Coffee Pot' turn right onto 'Golf Course Road'. Take this road up the hill, following the signs for the golf club and Viewbank House. Viewbank House is situated 200 yards before the golf course. Look out for the large Scots Pine tree in the garden! |
